About ANSI #50 Stainless Steel Hollow Pin Roller Chains
ANSI #50 HPSS stainless steel hollow pin roller chain has a 15.875 mm (5/8") pitch and is built with tubular hollow pins instead of solid pins. The hollow pin bore is 5.13 mm, so cross rods, wires, or fixture shafts up to about 5 mm can pass through the chain — or run continuously along its length. Made entirely from stainless steel, this #50 HPSS chain is the corrosion-resistant choice for washdown, food and beverage, and chemical conveyor lines where carbon steel would rust.

Stainless hollow pin chain is corrosion-resistant but has a lower tensile rating (this chain: 14.0 kN). For heavy loads, our carbon steel hollow pin chain (ANSI #50 HP) is usually recommended — tell us your load and we will help you choose.
