#60 vs #60H Roller Chain

If your application runs under continuous heavy loads or shock loading, consider our ANSI #60H heavy-duty roller chain.

The H-series uses thicker link plates and larger pins, raising tensile strength from 31.8 kN (standard #60) to approximately 44.5 kN, while keeping the same 19.05 mm pitch and sprocket compatibility. Standard #60 remains the economical choice for normal-duty transmission, while #60H is recommended for high-torque and abrasive environments.
