The Structure Of the Roller Chain

Chain structure: It is composed of inner chain links and outer chain links. It is composed of five small parts: inner chain plate, outer chain plate, pin, sleeve and roller. The quality of the chain depends on the pin and sleeve. For cars with rear derailleur, set the chain to the smallest wheel pair before hitting the chain. This way, the chain is loose and easy to operate, and it is not easy to "bounce" after being cut off.

The pin shaft is a kind of standardized fastener, which can be statically fixed and connected, or it can move relative to the connected part. It is mainly used for the hinge joint of two parts to form a hinge connection. The pin shaft is usually locked with a split pin, which is reliable in work and easy to disassemble. The function of the pin is to locate and fasten parts; it has two types: cylindrical and conical. The installation of the pin generally adopts two methods: press-in method or soft metal knock-in.

Roller chains are a broad category of chains used for power transmission purposes. They all have a common feature, that is, the sleeve roller that rotates around the pin or shaft of the chain; this roller can reduce the friction and wear between the chain and the sprocket. Among them, the drive chain transmits torque between the two sprockets;
