The 81X chain, with its 2.609" pitch, is classified as a steel bushed roller chain within the engineer class. Commonly referred to as an 81X conveyor chain , it owes its name to the straight side-plate design, which is typical in conveying applications. Predominantly utilized in the lumber and forestry industry, this chain can be optionally equipped with upgrades such as "chrome pins" or reinforced sidebars for heightened durability.
