About ANSI Triplex Roller Chains 

A three-strand roller chain is often referred to as a triplex roller chain, which is a combination of three single-strand roller chains. Multi-strand roller chains are designed to be several times stronger than ANSI or metric equivalent chains. Three-strand roller chains are commonly used in mining, transmission, agriculture, and heavy equipment processing. CTS roller chains are made from high quality materials and are precision heat treated and shop strengthened. Our inventory ranges from ANSI sizes # 25-3 to # 240-3. The CTS three-strand roller chain meets ANSI B29.1standards, which means it can be used with other manufacturers' chains and accessories using the same standards.
